[This post is so late that as of writing, the balikbayans are back in Manila for another visit! — Yes, just weeks apart from  their last visit :)]

The celebrant Ellabells  and my little girl

This is LOVE. I can live with this alone. Promise!

With Jerome & Pia, Ninang Es, Hubs and Moi 🙂

The little girl enjoying her private spot on the pool — the steps

Thank you Tita Es and Tito Rey for the “swimming suit”
Still quite big, pero carry lang 🙂

She loves the water

Mental note: swimming lessons next summer!

A Visit to the Dentist

One of the main toddler “problem” I have is the teeth. I wish I was more strict with brushing. But I partially think that her teeth is more prone to decay than other kids. In the words of my father, “may mga bata talagang  sirain ang ngipin”. Regardless, bottom line is, her 4 front teeth are unpretty.

I was so sure we were going to have a hard time with the dentist.
Luckily, she was so behave and did all the doctor’s order. Even gargling and spitting.

We’re going to have caps (?) -not sure if that’s the correct term- on her 4 front teeth

Happily sitting on the dentist chair by herself!

Apparently, she enjoys dental visits. Read about our first time here

After the dental visit, she gamely posed for the camera

Gymboree Classes

Last October, we finally resumed attending classes for the excited little girl. She’s too excited to go to school. Sometimes, she would randomly come up to me and say “Mommy I want to go to (s)chool” carrying her backpack. So finally we found time —

Can you feel her excitement?

As we canvass for pre-school for next year, and looking at the above pics, my only thought is:

Walang mahal na pre-school sa batang excited pumasok. We should strive harder. Pre-school’s are so expensive golly gosh!

She loves art class! (I wish they can find her hand paint poster, its missing 😦 )

Another favorite of course is unlimited playtime 🙂

More school pics to follow…

Trick or Treat 2011 – Part II

Our second trick or treat was all about giving. Since we are a tenant of SM, we are privileged to give candies to adorable kids in costumes. And mind you… the SM Marikina kids were more prepared over the Powerplant trick or treaters!

Posh Nails SM MarikinaHere’s the POSH little zebra waiting for trick or treaters 🙂

From Posh, to you 🙂

The “Autobots” were there! I love transformers — these walking robots were a sight to behold

I just had to follow them and take a pic

Autobots at SM MarikinaSachi was afraid at first. It took me 15 minutes to prep her up before she finally agreed to get closer

Career!! I don’t know who he is supposed to be… but his peg is freaky anyways

Til next year! 🙂

Trick or Treat 2011- Part I

I am jumping to a current post and will back track those that I missed — hopefully, soon!

Our annual Trick or Treat celebration. It’s our 3rd this year, and we are just as excited! Ganun yata talaga pag parents na… the word “exciting” is escalated on a different level.

Our first year, we came as a ghost

Our second year, the little gal came as Little Red Riding Hood

This year, she came as Little Miss Cute ‘n Fierce Zebra

Zebra at Trick or Treat 2011This is the fierce peg

Zebra at Trick or Treat 2011and the naturally cute peg 😉

Sachi came with Trey & Jared, who came in animal costumes too! (Special thanks to Trish for attending to our mommy duties and sending our package right on time 😀 —  next year, you’ll be part of this na rin yay!)

Animal CostumeMonkey Jared, Zebra Sachi and TREYceratops — the mommies weren’t that prepared with the costumes, eh?

We arrived past 11am, headed straight to the Picture Company for their photo shoot, lunch at Kabisera, then headed to the Rockwell tent to see the activities. Yes… we had a photo shoot. With which we exerted all effort for the kids to pose… well, at least smile. Dito pa lang, pagod na kami. Pleadings, bribery… name it! With 3 kids on the side… it was a market, a riot in the studio.

Daddy & Sachi, waiting for our Photo shoot turn.
I was trying to prep her up to show some smiles — Fail.

Inside the tent, Trey and Sachi have already warmed up, and now smiling for the camera. Maybe next time, the photo shoot should be scheduled in the middle of the activities — when the kids are hyped up already

Then where we are most excited about — trick or treating!
It still puzzles me why we are so excited with this, when all we do is walk around and ask for few pieces of candies, which we can buy anytime.

Bottom line: It’s all for the kid.

Dino and Zebra

Sachi excited to get more goodies!

Trick or Treat at RockwellTwick or Tweats!

These 2 animals are serious in their hunt for candies!

Having fun fun fun! And this is what its is all about

After Trick or Treat, we headed to El Pueblo for another yummy feast at Texas Roadhouse – Fajitas come to mama! 😀

Our Treats —

We’ll do it over and over until she’s old enough and gets tired of it

The smile on her face says it all 🙂
