Tagaytay Lunch & ParadiZOO

A week after Valentines, hubby decided to surprise us with a visit to Tagaytay. You see, hubby is not much fan of tagging the little princess along in out of town trips because she’s really a hyper kiddo. She would climb from the back seat to the passenger seat, hold anything and everything, she could hardly sit still. Yays took care of several babies and toddlers already, no one compares to Sachi’sΒ kalikutan.

So when J said we’re going to Tagaytay with Sachi, I was excited πŸ™‚

Our main stop is ParadiZOO.

Mommy is not the only one who’s excited

My little girl is so happy to be there too πŸ™‚

-- Holding hands --

Sachi kept on holding the cub, I kept on pulling her hand away. Mahirap na noh.

We’re both wearing our Crocs πŸ™‚ Finally kasya na!

Look Mommy!

There was a pony, lion, monkeys, birds, camel, goat, boar, crocodile and that lying white animal (pictured above). I forgot what it is but it looks like a hybrid of a pony and a sheep πŸ™‚ Its beautiful actually.

Its the White Lion!

Look Yays thats the tiger from my book!

Among all the animals, Sachi loved the Tigers the most. She would make this “grrrr” sound when you point the Tiger picture on her animal book.

Our second animal encounter is this long, heavy, and leather-ish feel skin…

Mr. Sawa

…of a Snake!

It is one happy getaway with hyper kulit Sachi πŸ™‚ I just wished we waited for the bus for the farm animal tour. Para sulit. But then at the back of our minds, its hot and it looks kinda boring. Hehe πŸ™‚

Thanks Daddy for driving us here

Paradizoo entrance fee: Php 249 per head

For lunch, we originally wanted Sonya’s, but decided on Antonio’s in the end. Oh my, the line was long. It sure felt like everyone in Manila fled here to eat lunch.Β Since we were already hungry and its past 1 o’clock, we stopped at the nearest restaurant, La Trobada.

The place has a nice view of Taal lake, it is nipa hut inspired so it felt cooler than usual, plus the singing combo was very entertaining (Much like the singing cooks and waiters). 2 things though, the food came way too late. I felt like I’ve been waiting for hours. Then for the food, its just okay, not good, not great, just okay.

We ordered the seafood platter and bulalo. Our family makes great bulalo, so yeah, eating bulalo at Tagaytay is simply “just because” we’re in Tagaytay. Indeed, it doesn’t compare to our home made. (I’m one proud family member eh? hehe).

On our way back, I saw this new hotel resort, Estancia if I’m not mistaken. It looks Mediterranean. If it is, thats next on our list πŸ™‚

Share the Love, Spread the Love! Happy Family Valentines! πŸ™‚

Too excited! When the trailer was shown I got so giddy pulling and tagging the hubby’s arm-slash-sleeve. The hubby even offered to watch it together seeing my excitement.

Is this a BFC thing or what? I haven’t heard from you guys!??

Lenten Sacrifice

When I open my eyes, I open Pinky, my HP Mini. And I start the day checking FB. Before I go to sleep, I do the same. When I’m bored, I go online too.

For a “techie” person like me, this is gona be hard. Especially that I’m running a promo, and I am excited to share progress on on my new venture.

But I do owe Him lots of things, and I’m guilty of not going to Mass recently. FB abstinence is not enough I know, it will not cover up my neglected mass duties. This is just the start. I am 5 days late, but better late than do nothing πŸ™‚

How about you, do you have a Lenten sacrifice?

P.S.
I failed the FB abstinence. Boohoo! I survived only a day. Hubby wasn’t supportive at all. I intend to do a Holy Week sacrifice instead… (crossing my fingers)

The reason why we were too lazy to get up on Valentines day is because of:

Vigan Empanada Appetizer, David’s Teahouse Lunch/Snack and Icebergs Desert

J & A: Dinner at MOA

After our hefty snack/lunch, we had, or rather J & N had a couple of drinks overlooking Manila Bay. We had the perfect view of the Fireworks display (I’m a sucker for that). After their alcohol fix, we headed at YakiMix for the much raved seafood buffet.

J & A: Seafood Buffet at YakiMix

At this point, I was already wondering how I can fill my stomach for tomorrow’s V-day crossover buffet at Dusit.

This Yakimix buffet is good! There wasn’t that much selection, but the cooked foods are great. The smokeless grill also adds to the thrill of eat-all-you-can. For sushi and the raw food lovers out there, you’ll enjoy this.

For dessert, they have Red Ribbon cakes and several ice creams.

Valentines is not only for lovers, its very much celebrated by and with friends πŸ™‚

*This Yakimix branch is at MOA, there is one at Tomas Morato too.

Wake Up Call

The stolen wallet incident must be a wake up call.

Because we are so blessed (and I thank God everyday for that) we might be getting too occupied with the blessings.

  • We haven’t gone to Mass for a number of Sundays already.
  • The wallet was stolen while I was doing Posh stuff on the computer — I’m so into this new venture, into these material things — I have to remind myself that there are far more important things. Like my Christian responsibilities, more time with my daughter, etc.
  • I am so trusting and complacent. I’ve been told and constantly been reminded not to leave my things lying around, but I never really put that into practice — I didn’t think someone would actually reach out and get someone else’s belongings.

All the things that’s been stolen are just… things. Hassle to replace them yes, but thats just what they are… things. I can replace them anytime.

I’m now wide awake. Thank you for the wake up call.

P.S.

Still in relation with my stolen wallet, I am researching on how to replace my cards. My CCs are blocked, that’s settled. For government IDs such as SSS and TIN… all I need is an affidavit of loss and the filled up corresponding forms. I will change status and surname in the process. At least that’s hitting 2 birds with one stone.

For reward point cards with such as Laking National, Suki Cards, and SM Advantage, they are all replaceable. Now I’m still thinking what else was in my wallet?

Researching all these, I stumbled upon discount coupons offered by Mercury Drug. Well hey, isn’t that great? Check this out for the month of Feb:

Every month, they have discount coupons. To get the complete list check it outΒ here

Its becoming another blessing. It really is just a wake up call.

Lost Wallet

How do I get over a stolen wallet?

Someone stole it at our shop. Ngayon lang. PI. I rarely curse, pero PI!!!!Theres not much cash, but I have important cards there!

CRAP! CRAP!Β CRAP!!!

It just happened a few hours back so I’m still all rage. I hate you whoever you are. Now I have to keep my guard up when I’m in the shop. It is no longer a safe zone. And I hate you for that. I hate hate you!!!

I am having the security cameras checked at the security department. If I see the person who stole it, then what?

When someone steal from you, its depressing. Its not only the lost items, its the ideal. Meron talagang masasamang tao 😦

I am still hoping that my wallet will be returned. Kahit wala ng pera. Basta un ibang laman lang, its useless to him anyways.

Still hoping…
